The FNB Private Wealth Credit Card is FNB’s top-tier credit card. It is designed for very high earners and comes with a metal card option, generous lounge access and family benefits.
FNB lists an income of R1.8 million or more per year, or net assets above R15 million, as the requirement. Your limit, rate and approval still depend on an assessment.
Before you apply, it helps to see what the card costs and whether the extras match how you live and travel.

When another option may be better
This card is unlikely to make sense unless you travel a lot and use the family perks. A lower-cost premium card gives you most of the everyday value without the higher monthly fee.
Costs to check
FNB lists a R380 monthly account fee, and the metal card costs R1,250. FNB also states that with a Fusion Private Wealth Account there is no monthly account fee or facility fee on this card, so check which account you would hold.
